For anyone in the military or even with a family member or friend in the military, you know that moving is part of the job description. That doesn’t just mean changing houses and towns every few years. There is so much involved in moving to begin with and add in the fact that it may be a move several states away or even internationally and things can get very complicated very quickly. Why does this matter? Well, at our company we strive to support and serve our military and to give back to them as a thank you for their service. We do this in several ways. BHHS Stovall, REALTORS® has a rebate program where agents give back a percentage of their commission directly to the military client at the closing table. When you are moving from overseas and starting new in a new town, that is money directly in their pocket and sometimes is cash for them to use on moving expenses not fully covered by the military. Oftentimes, that can be out-of-pocket expenses for children or pets or for things that they have to start over on in a new city.
Since our rebate program was started in 2014, our agents have given back over $525,000 directly to our military clients. We are proud and happy to do that for them.
We have also expanded from just the rebate we do and now we have our Military Home Connections program where we connect our military clients directly with other local service providers in our area that offer military discounts and that we trust. We want to be a one-stop resource for our military community members and several of our agents are military or have active-duty and retired military spouses. We want to thank the entire military community for their service and for the opportunity for us to give back to them and also help make the moving part of their lives and smooth and enjoyable as possible.
