Holiday Home Selling?

December 9, 2016 by Steve Stovall 1 Comment

Holiday home selling? Is this a good or bad idea?

Watch the video below to hear what Steve Stovall, the broker of Stovall, Realtors®, has to say about this topic.

Hi, it’s Steve Stovall again, and Merry Christmas to you! And at this time of year a lot of you are thinking, “Well, we probably shouldn’t be putting our house on the market, or if it’s on the market maybe we should take it off.”

Actually, that may not be the right way to think. Because, there are fewer houses on the market right now, and if your home is on the market during Christmas time, it’s going to stand out as one of the few on the market.

Also, there really are a lot of buyers that are still looking around and some of them want to get into those homes right before the end of the year. Interest rates are still very, very good.

Another reason to put your home on the market during Christmas time is it just looks so great. When you decorate for Christmas it shows well and it’s more inviting to buyers.

Don’t be afraid to put your home on the market during this season. Merry Christmas to you from Stovall, Realtors.
